Green Key certificate
Iso-Naappila has been granted a Green Key certificate. Green Key is an international environmental certificate that is awarded to operators in the tourism industry who promote sustainable development and environmental responsibility in their operations. The certificate is part of the activities of the Foundation for Environmental Education (FEE), and its goal is to encourage the tourism industry to reduce its environmental impact.

1. A cottage We operate in accordance with Green Key’s strict environmental criteria and thus take care of the environment. By choosing a Green Key-marked cottage, you are contributing to the well-being of the environment without compromising your comfort.

We use eco-labeled detergents for cleaning and work methods in which we use ozonated water for cleaning and detergents only for essential items, saving the environment. We want it to be easy for you to choose environmentally friendly accommodation and to make your stay comfortable.
3. We operate by saving energy As a Green Key host, we take good care of the environment. We save energy by using LED lights, energy-saving lamps, motion detection and timing in lighting. We make energy saving easy for you without compromising your comfort. In addition, we procure 100% environmentally friendly electricity.
4. We sort and recycle As a Green Key host, we take good care of the environment. We sort the waste efficiently and direct the types of waste suitable for reuse and recycling. This is how we save nature. We also offer our guests an easy way to recycle and take care of nature without compromising your comfort.
