A cozy 50 m2 log cabin on the shore of Lake Vesijärvi in Asikkala offers a holiday setting for families of 4+2 people with children and animals. You can take a small pet with you. There is no passing traffic because the cottage is located along the road that ends.
The cabin is located with good transport connections, only 25 km north of Lahti, the last 4.5 km of dirt road. The nearest restaurant/shop 5.5 km away and the municipal center in Vääksy (10 km) you can find bigger shops, Alko, more restaurants/cafes, a golf course, various sports facilities, etc.
The nearest cottage neighbors are located 50-100 meters away, with protective trees in between. Near the beach, you can grill with a ball grill while enjoying the evening sun.
You have your own rowing boat and the possibility to rent an outboard motor (check the booking status in advance). The cottage is located on a gentle slope, from where you take steps down to the beach. Distance from the cottage to the beach approx. 30 meters.
The cottage has all the comforts, so even a longer stay will be fine. The wooden sauna offers soft baths. Shower and toilet in the same room in connection with the sauna. In the kitchen you will find dishes for six people and all cooking utensils. The dining table can be extended to fit six people. The fireplace that fills the cabin comfortably provides extra heat, and you also have an air source heat pump at your disposal.
The cottage also has a travel cot, a high chair and a potty for the youngest in the family. The downstairs bedroom has beds for two people and the upstairs bedroom also has beds for two people. A spare bed for two people that can be spread out in the loft.
We do not recommend drinking water, but upon booking, the cottage comes with 10 liters of bottled water, and more can be bought from the nearest shops.
